Special Import

A special import is a device ordered on order only, specially ordered for the client, according to the order placed, device make and model, storage size, colour, rom version and specifications listed in the description of the device ordered

Back Orders
Back order items are only applicable to Special Imported items. These items are placed on back order once payment is received, your order will then be placed with the supplier. Lead time on back orders is 14 – 21 working days for us to receive the item from the supplier and process, the item will then be ready to be shipped to you.

What Versions are the devices?

Please note our devices are specially imported, therefore the imported items may be Global or CN rom or CN rom flashed Global rom or CN rom with PLAYSTORE ONLY - PLAYSTORE PRE-INSTALLED 

It is the consumers responsibility to ensure they understand that they are purchasing an specially imported device.

What is the difference between CN and Global ROM?

1. Language and Region Support

  • Chinese ROM: Primarily designed for the Chinese market, it includes Chinese and English language . It also includes region-specific features and services.
  • Global ROM: This version supports multiple languages, including English and other major languages. It is tailored for international markets.

2. Pre-installed Apps

  • Chinese ROM: Often comes with a variety of Chinese apps and services, many of which are not available or functional outside of China. These may include social media apps, payment services, and other local utilities.
  • Global ROM: Comes with apps that are more relevant to international users.

3. Google Services

  • Chinese ROM: Usually does not come with Google Play Services or the Google Play Store pre-installed. Users may need to manually install these services. They usually can support Google Play Services
  • Global ROM: Includes full support for Google Play Services, allowing users to access the Google Play Store and other Google apps seamlessly.

4. Software Updates

  • Chinese ROM: Updates may be released more frequently but can be less stable, as they are often focused on the local market’s needs and features.
  • Global ROM: Updates tend to be more stable and are designed to cater to a broader range of users. They may also include features that are more relevant to international users.

5. User Interface

  • Chinese ROM: The user interface may be tailored to Chinese users, featuring specific themes, settings, and shortcuts that cater to local preferences.
  • Global ROM: Typically features a more neutral user interface designed for a global audience, with options that are more familiar to users from different regions.

6. Network Compatibility

  • Chinese ROM: May have network settings and bands optimized for Chinese carriers, which could lead to connectivity issues in other countries.
  • Global ROM: Generally optimized for a wider range of international carriers, improving compatibility and performance in various regions.

I've made a mistake, can I change or cancel my order?
If you've accidentally placed an order or made a mistake while ordering, please contact us and we will try to assist you.

I’m in Cape Town, can I collect my order?
Yes by all means, for the safety of the business and the customer we are by appointment only. Upon checkout select collection and an appointment will be scheduled for you to collect your item. We are open Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00.

Do you accept payment on a collection?
Only for items in stock - not special imported devices which are on order only. If the collection is selected and the appointment has been scheduled, payment on collection is accepted.

Do you accept payment on delivery?
Unfortunately, we don’t.

How do I track my order?
We will keep you updated long the way, for local shipping the shipping confirmation email will contain the tracking number and the link to the local courier's tracking site.

I am uncomfortable ordering online, can you help put me at ease?
Absolutely! Pop us a mail and we'll try to address your concerns. 

I've made a payment but my order doesn’t seem to be complete?
From time to time there is a bit of a delay between the Bank and the payment provider, so should you encounter such an issue please don't be alarmed. For us to investigate please send us the bank-generated proof of payment so we can contact the payment provider on your behalf. Once it has been resolved you will receive the order confirmation.
